Poppy’s Pack offers dog walking, a home visit service and also a unique wedding chaperone service for the dog owners of Hartlepool and surrounding areas.
It has been set up by Tony and Claire, who are passionate dog owners themselves, and at Poppy’s Pack your dogs welfare and enjoyment are paramount. Your dog will always come first and given the utmost care whilst in our care.
We are fully insured, level 3 dog First Aid qualified and also DBS checked. We have a combined total of over 30 years experience of dog walking and have been involved in dog training, dog agility and flyball activities. We will deliver a bespoke package suited to your dogs needs as well as your own.

With Poppy’s Pack dog wedding chaperone service – we pride ourselves in being able to make your special day as inclusive as possible for your beloved pet.
We will make sure you have a pawfect day without the stress and worry of looking after your furry friend. Your pet’s wellbeing is paramount and we will go above and beyond in tailoring a package to meet both yours and your dog’s needs.
What could be cuter than having a bridesmaid or groomsman walking your beautiful dog down the aisle to present the rings for the ceremony.
We have extensive experience with dogs due to our dog walking business as well as being lifelong dog owners too.
We are fully insured including Public Liability, DBS checked and pet first aid qualified.
We are fully flexible to meet your needs for your special day with all your loved ones, especially the furry ones!!

- Maximum 4 hours from pick up to drop off

Silver package

- Visit to the dog groomers to make them looking and smelling perfect for your special day
- Transportation in a safe and secure vehicle to wedding venue
- Ribbons and bows on vehicle when entering the venue
- Take your beloved pet for a good walk to get rid of excess energy
- Dress your dog in attire of your choosing
- Meet and greet guests
- Assist during the ceremony to make your day as inclusive as possible for your dog
- Work alongside the photographer to get the best photos
- Any comfort breaks and drinks/treats plus feeding as necessary
- Maximum 8 hours from pick up to drop off
- Return your dog to agreed location
Extras
£45 per additional dog (excluding the Platinum package)
Additional mileage costs – All packages include a 60 mile round trip from the TS26 area. Any additional mileage will be charged at 45p per mile
Payment
A 30% non refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking. The remain amount must be paid 12 weeks prior to your wedding date. Should you postpone or alter the date then the original payment date will still stand.
We accept payment via Cash, BACS / FPS, Visa Debit, Visa Credit, MasterCard, Maestro and Apple Pay.
Initial consultations
The initial consultation last between 30 minutes to an hour. Here we can meet your furry friend(s) in their home or via FaceTime, Whatsapp etc. We can discuss what your requirements are and how to make your special day as pawfect as possible.
We will then email you with a quote and should you wish to go ahead a deposit will be taken so secure your date exclusively for you. If the initial consultation was via video, then a meet and play session will be arrange to meet the dog(s).

Our service details:
The team at Poppy’s Pack will collect your dog from your home and transport it to the area for an hours walk. The dogs are transported in our safe and secure vehicle which is equipped with secured and comfy crates. New dogs to the pack will be taken on lead until the team feel it appropriate, and with the owners consent, to let the dog off lead to run around with it’s friends.
All dogs will be offered water following the walk prior to returning home and obviously they will be very spoilt with treats if allowed. Home visits will include, feeding, watering and lots of fussing for your dog in their safe place, home. If medication is needed then, with appropriate guidance from the owner, this can be given if possible.
Home visits will be for 30 minutes whereas dog walks will be for 60 minutes. This does not include transport time and the dog will be walking for the full 60 minutes. If requested we can reduce the walk time if a dog is elderly or has an injury. This would be discussed with the owner beforehand. Payment is made either by bank transfer or cash in advance.
